Frequently Asked Questions About Membership

There are a variety of methods to purchase your membership:

• In person at any league event

You can be an associate member, but you must first purchase a membership in your home league. Associate members are not Voting Members.

The membership year is September 1 to August 31.

You can use your membership to access free outdoor skating at any community league in the city. In addition, many leagues extend other benefits to all community league members. Please check with individual leagues to determine what their policies are.

A voting member is any member in good standing (that has paid membership fees and is not suspended for any reason.

Each household may have a maximum of two voting members.

Members have the opportunity to vote at the league Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting must be held no more than six (6) months after the financial year-end for the presentation of the financial report and election of officers. The Board sets the place, day, and time of the meeting. It usually occurs at the end of May.

The board meets monthly on the third Tuesday, members are welcome to attend meetings.
